De PvdA stad Groningen presenteert een banenplan. Ruim 6 tot 7 miljoen Euro is nodig, bovenop de reguliere budgetten, voor 2200 banen. Andersmans geld is gemakkelijk uitgeven zullen we maar zeggen. Want dat voor dit plan hogere gemeentelijke belastingen nodig zullen zijn, lijkt me onvermijdelijk nu de financiële onderbouwing ontbreekt. Net zoals de PvdA de bezuiniging van maar liefst 2 miljoen Euro die er te halen zou zijn bij Martiniplaza en de Oosterpoort/Stadsschouwburg van geen enkele onderbouwing kon voorzien, zo wordt ook hier niet gezegd waar de centen vandaan moeten komen. Waar wil de PvdA dit van betalen? In mijn ogen draai je de kiezer een rad voor ogen als je niet laat weten waar het geld vandaan moet komen. We weten dat er bezuinigingen aan zitten te komen. Ik heb al begrepen dat we 30 tot 40 miljoen Euro uit de gemeentelijke organisatie kunnen halen. Maar ook met de dalende specifieke uitkeringen van het Rijk, een stijging in de uitgaven inzake de Wet Werk en Bijstand (lees, de enorme tekorten die we daar gaan krijgen), dalende belastinginkomsten, en Meerstad halen we geen sluitende begroting met alleen bezuinigingen op de gemeentelijke organisatie. Of we hebben de laatste jaren wel heel veel geld laten liggen…
De VVD is wél duidelijk over de bezuinigingsvoorstellen.
En het voorstel lezende, dan sta ik niet zozeer onsympathiek tegen alle voorstellen, maar het deel gesubsidieerde banen lijkt op oude wijn in nieuwe zakken zoals ook een aantal maatregelen een beetje gekunsteld. Melkertbanen hebben uiteindelijk ook niet gewerkt. Bovendien is het zeer de vraag hoe je in tijden van oplopende werkeloosheid banen denkt te kunnen creëren? We kunnen beter het vestigingsklimaat voor ondernemerschap verbeteren met een gemeente die samenwerkt met ondernemers waar uiteindelijk de banen vandaan moeten komen. En niet een links college die het vestigingsklimaat in de binnenstad verslechtert met hogere parkeertarieven en het weghalen van parkeerplaatsen aan de Diepenring. Lastenverlichting kan hier een handje helpen. Dit soort plannen uit linkse hoek kunnen echter alleen maar leiden tot een lastenverzwaring…
